1. Who We Are
NK Studio is a sole proprietorship of Mr. Niraj Kumar(Proprietor), whose name appears in our statutory registrations as “Niraj Kumar”. We are a premium wedding photography and cinematography studio based in Patna, Bihar, serving discerning clients across Bihar and India.

When you submit our Book Now, Contact, Request Callback, or Give Us Feedback forms, or reach us via phone, WhatsApp, or email, we collect:

- Event date(s), event type, and city / venue
- Package or service you are interested in
- Your message, notes, requirements, or feedback
- Rating and review content, where you choose to give feedback
2.2 Booking and payment information
Once you confirm a booking with us, we additionally hold:
- Billing name and address
- Payment records — amounts, dates, mode of payment, and transaction reference numbers
- Event itinerary, function list, venue addresses, and on-ground contact persons
- Correspondence and shoot briefs relating to your booking
2.3 Event media (photographs and video)
This is the most significant category of personal data we handle. During a booked event we capture high-resolution photographs, cinematic video footage, and audio of you, your family, and your guests. This media constitutes personal data, and Section 6 explains our comprehensive protocols for handling it.
2.4 Information collected automatically on our website
When you visit nkstudio.in, we and our service providers may collect:
- IP address and approximate location inferred from IP (city / region level)
- Browser type, version, language, operating system, and device type
- Screen dimensions, pages viewed, time spent, scroll depth, and navigation paths
- Referring website or campaign that brought you to our site
- Date and timestamp of your visit
IP address lookup: Our contact form retrieves your public IP address using secure third-party lookup services (such as ipify or ipinfo). Your IP is visible to those services during this lookup.
Device / browser characteristics: We record a basic set of browser and device characteristics along with the page you arrived from. We use this strictly to filter spam, detect bot submissions, and understand where genuine client enquiries originate.
2.5 Session recording and analytics
We use analytics tools that record aggregated interaction patterns (mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and page journeys), including anonymised session replays and heatmaps via Microsoft Clarity. These replays are used exclusively to diagnose usability bottlenecks (such as finding unresponsive buttons). They are never used to identify you personally, and text entered into sensitive form fields is masked by default.

4. Legal Basis and Consent
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Indian legal principles, we process your personal data on the following lawful bases:

Withdrawing Your Consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us at mail2nkstudio@gmail.com. Withdrawal applies prospectively. Please note that if you withdraw consent for data essential to executing your shoot, we may be unable to continue with your booking, and the cancellation terms in our Terms & Conditions will apply. Withdrawal does not affect financial archives we are legally bound to retain.
5. Marketing Communications
5.1 Service Communications: We contact you regarding your booking — confirmations, itinerary coordination, photo selection reminders, album proof approvals, and delivery notices — as an essential operational part of our service. These are transactional messages and do not constitute marketing.
5.2 Promotional Messages & Easy Opt-Out: We may send occasional seasonal offers, festive greetings, and new cinematic package announcements via WhatsApp, SMS, or email. You can opt out at any moment by replying “STOP”, clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, or texting us directly at +91 99056 55553. We honour all opt-out requests immediately.
5.3 DND / NCPR Registry: If your mobile number is registered on the National Customer Preference Register (NCPR/DND), we strictly respect your preferences for promotional messaging.
6. Your Photographs and Films — Privacy of Event Media
This section matters more than any other for a premium photography studio, so we have set it out plainly and transparently.
6.1 Confidentiality of Event Media
We hold your event media in strict confidence. Your raw footage, unedited photographs, and private review galleries are never shared with anyone outside our authorized production team without your express permission.
6.2 Portfolio and Social Media Showcase
We may feature selected artistic photographs and films from your event on our website, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, Google Business profile, studio print albums, and photography exhibitions to showcase our creative craftsmanship to prospective clients. This is standard industry practice in wedding photography.
6.3 Your Absolute Right to Say No (Privacy Opt-Out)
If you prefer your wedding or private celebration not to be published anywhere publicly, simply tell us in writing at the time of booking (WhatsApp or email is completely fine) and we will honour it and keep your entire coverage strictly private.
You may also request later that specific published images be taken down — write to us and we will remove them from our owned channels within a reasonable timeframe. (Note: We cannot recall copies that third parties may have previously downloaded or reshared).
As the booking client, you confirm authority to permit filming at the venue and agree to inform guests. Any guest who objects may inform our crew on the spot, and we will make reasonable efforts to avoid photographing them.
Photographs of children at family functions are captured as part of normal event coverage with parental consent. We will not publish identifiable portraits of children for promotional marketing if requested by a parent or guardian.
Digital review galleries and download drives are created specifically for you. Please treat shared links as private, as anyone possessing the link may view the gallery.
Ownership and copyright of the photographs and films remain with NK Studio as detailed in our Terms & Conditions. This section governs your privacy and personal publicity rights.

10. How We Protect Your Information
Client project files, high-res RAW camera footage, and edited master galleries are stored on access-controlled servers and local RAID mirrored drives during active production.
Access to client project data and contact records is strictly limited to editors and crew members assigned directly to your project.
All data transmission between your browser and our website is encrypted using industry-standard TLS / HTTPS cryptographic protocols.
In the unlikely event of any data breach impacting your rights, we will promptly notify you and the statutory authorities as required by Indian law.
11. Your Rights as a Data Principal
